Believe me or not I managed to get the egg stuck in the basket, so I was forced to reset it. Also it's strange hear the egg kicking in the title screen, it get's a bit annoying but isn't a big problem.

Good for a little 2 player game.

yamslayer responds:

Thanks for the comment! If the egg ever gets stuck - press space bar! It'll kick the egg, like tilt on a pinball machine :) and I'll see if I can stop the egg before title screen.

It's not bad but is a very plain game. It's understandable since it was made for a jam and you probably couldn't have time to do a big thing.

Anyways, still a plain game, but playable.

MonoFlauta responds:

Yes, we only had 48hs. Though glad is still playable! Thanks for playing it!

The game is very good! It has creative ideas of gameplay, good menu design and the funny scenes that you can unlock after playing a mode. I really spent my time playing this game.

Good job!

byangGW responds:

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing.

A good little game. Isn't a masterpiece, but you can have fun with it. It has a better experience when played with a friend.

It should have work better on the visual question, but it's okay.

Good work.

TheJYKoder responds:

Thanks!

If the game was trying to tell me a message, it failed on it. It's on the Puzzle category, but it fits more like luck. 99% of the game is luck, and this massively destroys the gameplay, if there's even gameplay on it.

Look at about-face, for example. This game is experimental too, it's almost the same style from your game. But the author made fair gameplay. Some challenging parts, but that depend on player's skills, not player's luck.

Next time try take the gameplay question with more care, since is the most important factor of an game.

whileworking responds:

Agree, the puzzle category doesn't suit well.

A very deep game. I don't know if that thing at the end was intentional (When you back to the begin and go to that inaccessible part), but man, that's near a masterpiece!

It's balanced between a fair gameplay (Not to hard, not to easy), visual and emotional. And that ending, I almost thought that was a bug or something. It really caught me of surprise.

Well done work!

PeltastDesign responds:

That was indeed intentional. Glad you liked it!

It's a good game novel, the only thing I would request is the option to skip the chat, it makes the gameplay very slow, even for a game novel.

Other than that, it's a good game. I hope you fix that in the official release.

EdwardWallace responds:

Thank you very much for the feedback, I am working to add a feature which will allow you to skip through the text in the final version.

Very neat game for a demo, the design is cool, and I noticed that the enemy in the 3rd level was a stapler, and that was a clever addition. However the difficulty changes too subtle from the 2nd to the 3rd level. It was so frustrating that I gave up. Try make first levels a bit easier, but don't make it too easy that you can just take 2 steps to win. Make a difficult that is hard but not frustrating.

Other than that, I'm awaiting for the full version!

megakruts responds:

Yes many people already told me that difficulty rises to fast and I am considering it in the further development.

The game thumbnail resembles the Slender's title font. I would lie if I say that this wasn't inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's.

The graphics on this one are so much simple compared to the first game "Afraid of Dark". The game doesn't instruct you to what to do, making the player use the guide, what is not cool.

Without music is boring, and the only sound you can hear in the game is the jumpscare. The player is punished for be confused on what to do with a jumpscare, what isn't cool too.

You should improve next time. If making a game that resembles another one, at least add a cool feature that the other doesn't have. 1 Star because it's still playable.

tirsod2000 responds:

I will improve, you can count on that.
(It actually has... Well, not music, more like ambient)

It's a very good tribute to the 1985 Super Mario Bros. The music is cool, but is only one and don't vary, and can be boring hear the same thing every time everywhere. The pipe thing is useful, and the shop thing is really cool, however I think a HUD showing how many coins you have would be very useful, since you need go there every time to see if you have enough coins to buy the item, and some people (like me) is too lazy to count each coin we get.

The game looks to have a good gameplay and visual, and that's cool. However there's some pits you need fall in, and one of the Super Mario Bros. rules is that if there's a pit on the ground, it leads you to death.

3.5 stars for the effort put on this project. Good job!

Wolod responds:

Thanks for the feedback! You can check amount of your coins in the pause menu. To open it press Escape or P.
