It's not bad but is a very plain game. It's understandable since it was made for a jam and you probably couldn't have time to do a big thing.

Anyways, still a plain game, but playable.

MonoFlauta responds:

Yes, we only had 48hs. Though glad is still playable! Thanks for playing it!

The game is very good! It has creative ideas of gameplay, good menu design and the funny scenes that you can unlock after playing a mode. I really spent my time playing this game.

Good job!

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing.

Not a bad game at all. It's fun and you can get over it. I just think you should specify in the instructions that you must press AND HOLD the down button to reload. I got some time to get that you must hold. It's also strange that you don't waste ammo by shooting in the sides, but that's alright because makes the difficult okay.

The visual art isn't good, but gameplay is the most important. Good job!

This game had little effort on it. Once you defeat a enemy, your life resets and increases a bit. Alright. But your "points" also increases and resets. With this, you can use "Boom" that instantly kill all enemies. This take off all the fun of the game.

The enemies and scenario looks like it had been done with hurry. It makes the game looks bad. And it's bad.

You should try put more effort on these points to get a better rating on next games. (Also, if you don't know, the little boy mascot of Newgrounds is called Pico too.)

I'm not a fan of Naruto, but for a fight game it's very okay. Graphics are good and controls are fine.

Nice game.

A good little game. Isn't a masterpiece, but you can have fun with it. It has a better experience when played with a friend.

It should have work better on the visual question, but it's okay.

Good work.

TheJYKoder responds:

Thanks!

If the game was trying to tell me a message, it failed on it. It's on the Puzzle category, but it fits more like luck. 99% of the game is luck, and this massively destroys the gameplay, if there's even gameplay on it.

Look at about-face, for example. This game is experimental too, it's almost the same style from your game. But the author made fair gameplay. Some challenging parts, but that depend on player's skills, not player's luck.

Next time try take the gameplay question with more care, since is the most important factor of an game.

whileworking responds:

Agree, the puzzle category doesn't suit well.

You shouldn't post a beta/demo of your game if even the beta or demo isn't accomplishble. Even more for a escape game.

The screen size is higher than the Newgrounds page size. Try to fix that.
There's no tip of how avoid the mysterious man. I had to guess myself and I had luck, but most people don't will and will give up.
Game freezes when you get to the bookcase scene from the bedroom. If you go from the door, however, you can move outside it.

Sorry for the rating. Try to fix these stuff.

A very deep game. I don't know if that thing at the end was intentional (When you back to the begin and go to that inaccessible part), but man, that's near a masterpiece!

It's balanced between a fair gameplay (Not to hard, not to easy), visual and emotional. And that ending, I almost thought that was a bug or something. It really caught me of surprise.

Well done work!

PeltastDesign responds:

That was indeed intentional. Glad you liked it!

Even for a demo, this isn't enjoyable. You get inspired by Geometry Dash, right? So why you don't put no music or no sound effects?

This game is short even for a demo, if not fail you end it in 15 seconds or less. After you finish there's no way you play again the level, forcing you to reload the page manually if you wish play again.

Here's a tip: before uploading a game, even a demo, imagine if the people who is playing your game will enjoy it. Mainly for a demo, because your demo will decide if they want play the full version or not.
